Talk: Local Portraits with Nathalie Scott

Award-winning portrait artist and club member/art class teacher Nathalie will present Faces of Guildford—a celebration of individuals who have shaped the community over the years. In this talk, she will share the stories behind a selection of her portraits, including those exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery as part of the BP Portrait Award and the Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer Award.

Nathalie specialises in highly detailed portrait paintings of everyday life. Her meticulous and sensitive approach to portraiture has led to her work being selected for exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in 2004, 2010, 2012 and 2015.
